Johns Hopkins Carey Business School welcomed prospective students from across the country to three signature admissions events: Full-time MBA Preview Day and Discover Carey Day in Baltimore, and Experience Johns Hopkins in D.C. Each event offered a unique view into the Carey community, our programs, and the opportunities that define the student experience.
Attendees came together to explore Carey’s MBA and specialized master’s programs, connect with faculty and staff, and learn more about our Baltimore and Washington, D.C. locations. Across all three events, the message was consistent: at Carey, students don’t just earn a degree. They build for what’s next®.
Full-time MBA Preview Day
Full-time MBA prospective students were welcomed by members of the Carey community to a day filled with program and student experience overviews, panel sessions, and a sample class taught by one of Carey’s faculty members.
MBA students learned about the experiential learning opportunities, career resource support they will receive during their time at Carey, and how the MBA program will help advance their careers. A highlight of the day was the sample class, Masterclass: Cognitive Frames and Leadership in Organizations, led by Assistant Professor Suntae Kim. This interactive session let attendees experience firsthand what a graduate-level course at Carey is like.
Discover Carey Day
Discover Carey Day brought together prospective students interested in all of Carey’s MBA and specialized master’s programs. Attendees heard from faculty, staff, and current students about their program of interest, experiential learning, and the resources available to support student success.
Attendees were able to sit in on a class taught by Professor of Law and Ethics Stacey Lee. It was an opportunity to experience Carey’s collaborative classroom environment. The event concluded with a student ambassador-led tour of the Harbor East building, giving visitors a closer look at Carey’s location and the surrounding Baltimore community.
Experience Johns Hopkins in D.C.
Prospective students exploring programs based in Washington, D.C. joined Carey at the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg Center for Experience Johns Hopkins in D.C. This event offered a closer look at Carey’s presence in the nation’s capital and the academic programs uniquely positioned in the city. Attendees learned about Carey’s Washington, D.C.-based programs and had the opportunity to discover other degree programs offered by Johns Hopkins graduate schools, such as Advanced Academic Programs from the Krieger School of Arts and Sciences and the School of Advanced International Studies.
