A milestone year: Photos from Carey’s 2026 graduation

Congratulations to the Class of 2026! We are excited to see how you build for what’s next®.

There are days that feel bigger than the sum of their moments, and this year’s MBA and MS commencement day was one of them.

Johns Hopkins Carey Business School celebrated more than 2,000 graduates on May 19 at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall in Baltimore, MD. From future business leaders and innovators to data-driven problem solvers and entrepreneurs, our graduates join a global community committed to leading with purpose and making a meaningful impact.

MBA graduates heard from their classmate Ira Sharma, while Danlin Yang (Finance ’26) addressed her Master of Science peers. Both programs heard from keynote speaker Christopher Schaper (MBA ’12), who shared his experience as chief risk officer at American International Group.

Carey’s MBA and MS programs aren’t easy paths. They are chosen because they ask something real of the people who pursue them. Through early mornings, late nights, sacrificed weekends, and pushed-through doubts, our students showed up for themselves and for their futures. And that hard work happened while holding down jobs, raising children, working through life, or navigating a demanding career already in motion.

Whether pursuing an MBA to strengthen leadership skills and accelerate career growth or earning an MS degree to deepen specialized expertise in areas like AI, healthcare, finance, and more, the Class of 2026 leaves Carey prepared to tackle the next level of business challenges across industries.

And that’s what makes graduation day so powerful. As our newest alumni step into what’s next, they carry forward the values that define Carey: curiosity, collaboration, advancement, and humanity. In a year when Johns Hopkins celebrates 150 years, we could not be more proud of the Class of 2026!
