Welcome to Johns Hopkins Carey Business School! We’re excited to meet you at the Full-time Master of Science Orientation in August.

Orientation is broken up into half-day sessions, depending on your program. Please be sure to check your emails for specific information regarding your orientation session.

  • If you are an incoming student in Washington, D.C., you will be joining us for orientation on Tuesday, August 20 at the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg Center in Washington, D.C.
  • If you are an incoming student in Baltimore, MD, you will be attending orientation on Thursday, August 22 at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront Hotel in Baltimore, MD.

These half-day sessions are designed to help you meet departments from around Carey that are essential to your success in your academic program. You will also have the opportunity to get to know your peers in your program and to learn about the resources and services available throughout your time at Carey and beyond.

Be sure to check out all the exciting opportunities offered throughout the month of August and register for our orientation events.

The Master of Science orientation strikes a balance between providing new students with essential tools and information for early success while also offering opportunities to build genuine connections with your peers.

This year, we have refined both our mandatory MS orientation events and optional activities to ensure they effectively support students navigating the significant transition to a new school, community, and for some, a new country.
