Data for Johns Hopkins Carey Business School’s 2024 Full-time MBA Employment Report is in, and we are pleased to share that our students successfully navigated another year of complexities in the job market and economic landscapes. Below are some key takeaways from the full-time MBA Class of 2024:
Class of 2024: Highlights and achievements
The 2024 Full-time MBA class brought together an accomplished group of individuals from across the globe to Baltimore, MD. Representing over 20 countries, 86 percent of the class received full-time offers within 90 days of graduation, with a median base salary of $127,500. Over 47 percent of graduates accepted a job through a school-facilitated activity, with top industries being financial services, consulting, and health care. The full-time MBA program has also consistently achieved gender parity since 2019, with the class of 2024 being the fifth year in a row.
Students utilized career support
The Career & Life Design and Employer Relations teams collaborated to provide students with the tools needed for career advancement and transition, while fostering connections with potential employers for future career growth. Resources and events include career workshops, alumni mock interviews, industry roundtables, networking sessions, panel discussions, employer recruitment sessions, and the annual MBA Corporate Networking Breakfast.
Students also gained immediate access to online resources like Handshake and Carey Career Resources on Demand upon class registration. And for the Class of 2024, an average of 25,091 full-time jobs were posted on Handshake each month.
